Today, we are proud to spotlight one of our outstanding Chamber leaders: Jennifer Zimmerman, the Founder and Executive Director of 65 Alive, and the 2025 Chair of the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber Board of Directors.

In her professional role, Jennifer is a champion for education and advocacy. Through 65 Alive, she hosts workshops and outreach efforts designed to help Medicare-eligible individuals make informed choices, avoid common pitfalls and scams, and feel empowered to take charge of their healthcare decisions. Her work combines education, compassion, and a strong sense of service to help people navigate some of the most important choices in their lives.

Jennifer’s connection to the Chamber spans decades — she has been an active and passionate member since the early 1990s. Throughout the years, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering collaboration, supporting local businesses, and strengthening our community. Her belief in the mission of the Chamber has been a consistent force, helping to guide and inspire new generations of leaders.

Now, as Chair of the Chamber's Board of Directors for 2025, Jennifer is leading with a clear and meaningful vision: "Make It Matter." Under her leadership, the Chamber is focused on building intentional connections, creating strategic opportunities for collaboration, and ensuring that every interaction and initiative has maximum impact for our members. Her approach challenges us to be thoughtful, purposeful, and bold as we work to support the growth and success of businesses across our region.

Outside of her professional and Chamber responsibilities, Jennifer finds joy in traveling, spending time with her beloved grandchildren, and hosting gatherings for friends and family — always creating memorable moments and deepening the relationships that mean the most to her. A fun and inspiring fact about Jennifer: she is the youngest of 13 siblings, a background that has clearly shaped her resilient, collaborative, and community-minded spirit.
