This month, we are thrilled to shine our Business Member of the Month spotlight on Courtyard Galerie and Courtyard on Cotton, a dynamic art gallery and creative collective located in the heart of downtown West Monroe.

More than just a gallery, Courtyard Galerie is a vibrant platform for Northeast Louisiana artists to collaborate, connect, and push the boundaries of traditional art forms. Through a unique blend of networking, idea exchange, and community engagement, the collective encourages both emerging and established artists to experiment, take creative risks, and develop innovative new works.

Courtyard Galerie’s mission is as impactful as it is inspiring:

1. Connect artists and art lovers while making art accessible to all.

2. Create an inclusive, supportive environment where the community can interact with, observe, and purchase fine art.

3. Establish a permanent gallery and sculpture garden open to the public year-round.

By hosting rotating exhibitions, fostering creative dialogue, and partnering with local businesses, organizations, and institutions, Courtyard Galerie is actively contributing to the cultural vibrancy and artistic relevance of our region. These partnerships spark joint projects and strengthen the broader arts ecosystem in Ouachita Parish and beyond.

Visitors are welcome to explore the gallery Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by appointment. You’ll also find the gallery open during Downtown Gallery Crawl evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., held every other month — a great time to enjoy the art and energy of our downtown creative district.
