DWMRG also encourages projects that bring color, vibrancy and a welcoming atmosphere to the district. Applicants are urged to consider proposals that enhance the pedestrian experience and add visual interest of downtown.

Examples of eligible projects may include, but are not limited to:
- Decorative or artistic lighting installations
- Public benches, bistro tables, and other seating elements
- Outdoor artwork, murals or creative displays
- Decorative bike racks or functional public art pieces

Please Note: Any project proposed for installation on public sidewalks or right-of-way must receive prior approval from the City of West Monroe before implementation.

Note: Funds may support exterior rehabilitation in accordance with approved design standards, that is appropriate for scale, and compliments the historic architecture of the building façade.
